The La Ganse estate has been producing wine since 2008.
Some of the land previously belonged to my parents, whilst the rest I purchased myself.
Today the estate is composed of almost 9 hectares of vines: 1.08 hectares of Syrah, 0.3 hectares of Cinsault and nearly 7.6 hectares of Grenache noir.
The age of the vines at La Ganse range from 15 to 55 years old.
Since 2017 plantation of 55a of white vines which gave birth to the first VACQUEYRAS BLANC with 2020 vintage !
A healthy spirit in a healthy estate !
Labelized Bio (organic) since the 2014’s vintage my main task is to develop the vineyard so that the health of its vines is maintained and nurtured in a way that is as natural as possible.
Canopy management tasks such as disbudding and leaf thinning make a crucial contribution towards the healthy development of the grapes on the vine.
It is equally important to pay close attention to the weather conditions and forecasts when it comes to organic farming.
