Traditional vinification methods are employed, including a 20 day skin contact period. The wine is aged in concrete vats and bottled the following June.

A Vacqueyras with personality !

The estate is unusual in that the grapes that are destined for producing blended, bottled wine are selected and gathered together as we pick them. As the yield is small (max. 36 hl/ha) and since there is no ageing cellar or storehouse on site (I do my actual wine-making on a nearby estate), I effectively choose the grapes that will make up my next wine as I harvest them!
It is therefore vital to identify the desired grape flavour potential and carry out proper analysis of the grapes before harvesting.

I hope that these efforts will result in a wine boasting a kaleidoscope of different flavours, a certain fruitiness, and, last but not least, something of a feminine touch with which to top off a Vacqueyras that’s really bursting with personality!
